Boswellia AKBA by Pure Encapsulations is a potent anti-inflammatory supplement containing the herbal extract boswellia. It has been used for many hundreds of years and is also known as Indian Frankincense. As an anti-inflammatory, it can be taken to maintain good general health, whilst also helping to reduce many inflammatory conditions.

The AKBA form of boswellia is more absorbable and more potent. Boswellia AKBA contains the compound 5-LIOXIN which contains 10x more AKBA (the active compound) than standard boswellia extracts. Boswellia has potent anti-inflammatory properties which can be beneficial across the whole body. Early studies have indicated it may be anti-tumour, which may help to reduce the risk of cancer. Research also shows it can help to prevent inflammatory molecules called leukotrienes being formed which can trigger asthma symptoms. Other research has found it beneficial for osteoarthritis and reducing pain whilst improving knee flexion.

Suggested use is 1 capsule daily.

Ingredients: Hypoallergenic plant fibre (microcrystalline cellulose), 5-LOXIN® Boswellia serrata extract, ascorbyl palmitate. Vegetarian capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose).
